🇨🇦 Health Canada warns that 2" Slats Wood Blinds for Indoor Windows previously available on Amazon.ca may pose risks of strangulation and choking

Recall date: March 17, 2026Country: CACategory: consumer_products
Hazard/Reason: Health Canada has determined that the blinds do not meet Canada's Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a risk of strangulation. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard and even death. In addition, the products can also release small parts that pose a risk of choking to young children. Health Canada recommends cordless window coverings. For more information on the hazard, see Blind Cord Safety.
