🇨🇦 Generac portable generators recalled due to fire hazard

Hazard/Reason: When first filling the recalled generator, fuel can leak from the carburetor, posing a fire hazard. Consumers with generators that have previously been filled with enough fuel to move the gauge off "E," or have been used without any fuel leakage, can continue use. As of March 31, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 114 reports of fuel leaking with no reports of fire or injuries.
